Okay, I've completely edited out my original description, because it was turning into a long journal entry.
This is an illustration that I did for Wizard and Sega's "Bayonetta Re-envisioned" art contest. Fans can vote on their favorite entry from Sept 1 - Sept 14 2009. While voting will not directly determine the winner, it may influence the judges. As of now, my entry is on the voting page, but not on the full gallery. I don't know why, but at this point, I'm thankful that it's there at all. There are a lot of great entries, so if you're a fan of Bayonetta or just want to see some good fanart, check out wizarduniverse.com. And if you feel like mine's worthy, I won't mind too much if you vote for me.
I normally don't post high resolution pics to deter art theft, but the detailed lineart is kind of difficult to see, so I've edited the deviation and posted a larger version (hit download to see it).
Cheers.
Edit: I made it into the top 10 and scored a copy of Bayonetta when it comes out in January. There were some phenomenal entries, so I'm pretty pleased. Thanks to Wizard and everybody who voted.
